MASSAC COUNTY, IL. — One person was killed in a head-on crash in Massac County.

It happened Sunday morning US 45 about a mile south of Joppa Road.

Authorities say a pickup was traveling southbound when the driver crossed the center line and hit another pickup head-on.

The driver of that southbound truck was killed. The other driver was taken to an area hospital.

Names of those involved are being withheld pending family notification.
