The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted man.

35-year-old Lester Taylor, of Herrin, has two active warrants for burglary.

According to a press release, Williamson County Deputies attempted to take Taylor into custody Tuesday night at home in Blairsville, but he escaped police. Taylor is also facing additional charges of resisting a peace officer and manufacture of methamphetamine.

He’s described as a white male, about 5’10” tall, roughly 145 lbs. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Taylor is thought to be in Herrin or the Blairsville-Hurst-Bush area.
