Carbondale police are looking for a suspect in a weekend stabbing.

It happened early yesterday morning near South Beveridge and West Cherry streets.

Police were called to the scene after a fight between multiple people. One had been taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale with a stab wound. The injury was non life threatening.

The investigation continues.
