A 7 year old girl involved in a head-on collision in Ava on Tuesday has died from her injuries.

Two other people – 40 year old Jennifer Bryant of Carbondale and a 17 year old driver from Ava were flown to St Louis with major injuries from the scene of that crash on Union School Road on Tuesday.

Authorities say the crash is still being investigated.
