Jackson County residents will get to vote on a one percent sales tax increase this November.
The tax hike would be benefit schools within the county.
Also on the November ballot will be a proposition for a Public Building Commission – Something county board chairman John Rendleman says is not a tax, but instead a better way for citizens to have input on public building repairs.
