An investigation is underway into a home invasion in Herrin.
Herrin Police say officers arrived at the residence in the 600 block of N. 9th St, where it was found that three suspects had forced their way into the home and assaulted the residents.
The suspects stole cash and other items from the residence before leaving.
The suspects are described as three black males. Lockdown was initiated at Herrin High School due to the proximity to the residence.
