A man was pulled out of a car after a crash on IL Rt. 154 yesterday in Randolph County.

Illinois State Police say 21 year old Michael Dillard of Dupo lost control around a curve due to excessive speed before his car hit some trees on the side of the roadway.

A Good Samaritan pulled Dillard from his car before the vehicle caught fire.

Dillard was flown to a St. Louis area hospital. He is said to have suffered serious injuries.
