Carbondale Police are investigating a series of car burglaries which occurred in one part of the city between Sunday and Monday.

Six cars were burglarized along East Park Street in the 900 and 1000 blocks, as well as the 700 block of South Wall Street. All of the cars involved were unlocked and had property stolen from them.

Authorities are reminding citizens to double check doors to always make sure they are locked.
