A Marion man has been found guilty of being a felon unlawfully possessing a weapon.
33-year old Danny Garner was found guilty in Jackson County Court on Tuesday after fleeing from Carbondale Police in September of last year.
Garner was under observation by Carbondale Police while he was sitting in the parking lot of a bank near The Strip with a gun on the passenger side floorboard.
Garner fled on foot and was secured by officers soon after.
Sentencing for Garner has been set for May 27th.
