Sesser Sign

Changes are making their way to Sesser. The city received two large grants in order to renovate Miners Memorial Park, as well as renovating homes in need.

$271,000 will go to renovating the park. The plan includes updating tennis courts, adding a sand volleyball court, as well as upgrading the restrooms, and making the park more handicap-accessible.

$400,000 will go towards renovating homes in order to make the city look nicer, in the hopes of increasing property value.

City officials hope to get the park project up and running in the spring.
