Pulaski County has a new State’s Attorney.

James “Jim” Flummer has been appointed by the Pulaski County Board of Commissioners to take over the position held by Grayson Gile, who retired from the position December 1st due to health reasons.

Flummer previously served as City Attorney for Cairo, Thebes, and Mounds, and also served as Alexander County State’s Attorney in 1976.

Flummer will serve in the position until 2016.
