Screen Shot 2014-05-21 at 11.27.19 AMA Pinckneyville man is behind bars after police allegedly found meth and meth-making paraphernalia in a hotel room.

Police allegedly received a report about a suspicious person near the railroad tracks on the south side of town. Officers found a container of anhydrous ammonia, according to reports.

Officers were led to the Main Street Inn where they found other materials.

34-year old Herman Sims was arrested and has been charged with aggravated methamphetamine production.

Sims is being held in the Perry County Jail.
