Herrin, Ill. – Three children are in protective custody after police found a meth lab at their home in Herrin.

Police say they went to the home on the 700 block of N. 16th Street around 6 p.m. Tuesday when they found an active meth lab and the children. They were one, three and four years old.

31-year-old Robert Walker and 24-year-old Amanda Walker were arrested and charged with aggravated participation in methamphetamine manufacturing.
