Construction on Route 13 in Williamson County begins Monday.

Workers will be expanding lanes between Greenbriar Road in Carterville and Main Street in Crainville.

There will be lane closures between 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for about 3 to 4 weeks. Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., all lanes will open, but traffic will be shifted towards the outside shoulder.

In Franklin County, Route 37 just south of the intersection with Route 149 is closed due to construction.

IDOT says the stretch of road will reopen June 15. Then, Route 37 north of that intersection will close June 16-22.

Route 149 will remain open but traffic may be controlled by flaggers.
